Reference rates
Every currency. Several sources. One number you can stand behind.
FX Pounce reads four public feeds, publishes the median, and shows the spread when they disagree. Save a sum such as 115,000 euros and read it in pounds, or watch a pair. Alerts go out by email or browser push.
A median, and the argument
Each currency is quoted from every feed that publishes it. The board shows the median. The spread, in basis points, is how far the feeds sit apart.
A saved amount
Keep 115,000 euros on the desk and see the pounds today, next to the pounds on the day you saved them. A ping writes when that figure crosses a line you set.
A watch with a rule
Arm a pair on a percentage move, or on a level above or below. FX Pounce writes when the published median crosses that line.
How a reading is made
Fetch
European Central Bank via Frankfurter, ExchangeRate-API, FloatRates, and Currency API.
Compare
Cross rates are built from US dollar legs. A source is used only when it has both currencies.
Alert
Email leaves through your SMTP settings. Browser push leaves through Firebase when the operator has saved a project.
